It figures. Just when we thought it was safe to have a festival, to grade the Playitas road and to bask in the cooler weather, along comes the strongest hurricane of the season, Norbert. He is currently about 445 miles away and a category 4 storm, mean and threatening. He is forecast to make landfall north of Todos Santos and let’s hope he stays far away from Todos Santos as he will be a damaging entity. Lots can happen between now and Saturday but it appears as though he will put a damper on our festival. Vamos a ver!
And of course, today they were grading the Playitas road so it naturally follows that we will get a lot of rain within a week. Almost always happens that way. It’s a shame too as the road will be in worse condition than before the grading and it will be weeks if not months before it is graded again.
