I will hopefully have more info, some history and some photos tomorrow, but on Thursday, March 26, Profe. Nestor passed away. He was born in 1925 and was responsible for much of what makes Todos Santos comfortable today. He was instrumental in educating many of today’s residents, obtaining a local health facility (Centro de Salud), constructing the theater Marques de Leon and in bringing a cultural center (Centro Cultural) to Todos Santos. He was a poet, educator and above all, a man of peace. He was always promoting peace on earth through his venues at Centro Cultural.
His kind spirit will be sorely missed in Todos Santos, in Baja California Sur, in Mexico and in the world. Vaya con dios Profe.
