The 5k race went off without too many hitches on Feb 5. Attendance was below the first two years, likely due to the race date being in February and not over the Christmas/New Year holidays as it had previously been. The race organizers could not hold the event on the first Saturday in January (as normal) since that date was New Year’s day. Sunday, Jan 2, was out due to an event at the church that would limit use of the plaza. We will have to see what next year’s race brings.
