The Todos Santos Art Festival is moving right along and will close on Saturday, Feb 18. Wednesday, February 16, I attended a dance performance at the newly renovated Marquez de Leon Theatre and it was a treat. Dancers from Ballet Libertadores (don’t know where they call home) graced us with a colorful and skillful show.
They began in the plaza with Aztec style dancing and then traced the centuries forward (in the theatre) ending with modern dancing. The costumes were amazing as was the lighting. A couple of photos below:
