With all the bad press about Mexico, we are very grateful here in southern Baja for all our visitors. Our tourist season has been the best in three very tough years. We need it too. The previous two years were devastating for many businesses, including some that no longer exist.
Over at Huffington Post, John Dougherty tells the tale of his leap of faith, along with his wife and two dogs. He decided to ignore all the bad press and drive an expensive RV down the peninsula. As many of us have already learned in the past, there are no regrets. This j0urney is amazing, filled with wonder, danger and friendly, helpful Mexican locals.
