I am just now finishing posting the Summer 2011 issue of El Calendario de Todos Santos. This issue covers the months of June through October and features Vincent Lamote as the artist of the month. Vincent is a young new artist, son of Frieda (owner of Galeria Indigo) and Dany (head chef at Hotel California.) Vincent’s art has come a long way in the last 2 years and the experienced artists in town have taken him under their collective wings.
This issue also has a story about the Fiestas Tradicionales (October Festival del Pilar) in Todos Santos that celebrate the founding of the town. The story is written by Chloe Johnson with photos by her sister Vivian Johnson. They hail from Portland but visit frequently.

Summer 2011 El Calendario de Todos Santos
Hi,
Just read your whole Calendario. Could you tell me, generally, when the galleries and shops start opening on Wed and Thurs? I could not find any store hours listed.

Most tourism oriented stores and galleries are open on Wed and Thurs and typically open around 10-11 am. As we move more into summer, many businesses will take a vacation and will be closed during that time. Usually this starts in August.
