Hurricane Jimena is For Real!

If Jimena follows projections, Todos Santos won’t know what hit her. This storm is large, powerful and dangerous. At this moment, 5:40 pm MDT, it appears she will pass within 75 miles of Todos Santos and we will receive at a minimum, strong tropical storm force winds. If Jimena passes closer, say 45 miles, we will receive hurricane force winds. Jimena currently packs 155 mph sustained winds and gusts up to 190 mph. I don’t think palapa roofs can withstand that onslaught. I just hope the dunes hold back the ocean surge.
